Event Cancellation & Refund Policy

General Cancellation Policy
Refunds for professional development and networking events are subject to the following conditions:
- Refunds requested more than 5 days prior to the event will be issued less a $10 administrative fee
- Refunds requested within 5 days of the event will be issued at 50% of the registration fee paid
- No refunds will be issued on the day of the event or after
- All refund requests must be made in writing to the CMBA-BC office
Special Events
Certain events are subject to event-specific cancellation policies, which may differ from the general policy above. These include, but are not limited to:
- Conference & Trade Show
- Charity Golf Tournament
Where a specific policy applies, it will be communicated at the time of registration.
Conference & Trade Show
- Sponsorships and exhibitor booths are non-refundable
- Delegate registrations:
- Refunds requested up to one week prior to the event will be issued less a $50 administrative fee
- Refunds requested within one week of the event will be issued at 50% of the registration fee
- No refunds will be issued on the day of the event or after
- Refund requests must be made in writing or personally to the CMBA-BC office
Charity Golf Tournament
- Refunds requested 30 days or more prior to the event will be issued less a $50 administrative fee
- Refunds requested within 30 days and up to 5 days prior to the event will be issued at 50% of the registration fee
- No refunds will be issued within 5 days of the event
Returned Payments
A $30 fee will be charged for any returned or dishonoured cheque.
